Super overdue post on the Electric Sekki Fall Winter 2013 Press Day! Electric Sekki is a fashion bureau that specializes in strategic distribution and brand development in Asia for brands most of us have definitely heard of, including one of my personal favourite brands! I was invited over to their showroom some time ago to take a look at what they have in stock for the coming season! And of course I said yes :).

Each season, Electric sekki curates our own selection of top trends that they love, and for Fall/Winter 2013, the trends include the Caped Crusader, the Hitchcock Heroine, the Vampy Vixen, the New Grunge, Winter White and Dark Romance.

The Caped Crusader collection is all about statement outerwear and the gorgeous colour block leather jacket from Twenty8Twelve is a must have! The Hitchcock Heroine selection features strong, mysterious and womanly elements and the Sass and Bide‘s strong monochrome collection is a definite to-die-for! The Vampy Vixens selection with House of Holland and No.21 tells us that the rich, luxurious jewel tones are here to stay, while the New Grunge selection including Insight 51, Minkpink, One Teaspoon and Something Else calls us in for some 90’s grunge! Black is much loved this summer and this love will continue on to winter with a whole new definition, as with Dark Romance we opt for a softer, rather sensual and romantic side of black including brands such as ksubi, TELA and MinkPink. And that does not only goes for black, white is now not only a summer favourite, so go on and wear white-on-white this winter to achieve the ultimate Winter White look!

      Hello Michael,

Many thanks for bringing to my attention that I should include my copyright notice properly on the site – which I have now done so! Please do let me know where you have seen any of my photos as they belong to me unless stated otherwise. A great deal of time and effort has been put into producing these images and you are right, they can’t be “ripped off” without any proper crediting and link back to me! Please email me at cindie.chan@googlemail.com if you find any of them. Thanks tons in advance!
